Watch out for these ‘smart’ smartphones in 2018!
Smartphones are launched many but there is always room for newest innovation in mobile technology. So, here’s a roundup of the exciting upcoming phones that will power the coming year!
Nokia 9 is an upcoming smartphone by Nokia. The phone is rumoured to come with a 5.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels. The Nokia 9 is expected to be powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and come with 4GB of RAM. The phone is rumoured to pack 64GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 9 is rumoured to pack a 22-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 12-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
Samsung Galaxy S9+
The Samsung Galaxy S9+ is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 9810 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 400GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
After the successful launch of iPhone X, the viewers are all eyes and ears for the next launch. One of the big changes that the iPhone X introduced was the Super Retina display. This is a 5.8-inch OLED display with a generous 2436 x 1125-pixel display resolution. We’re very much hoping that we’ll see a trickle-down effect that results in the iPhone 9 getting a similarly impressive display in 2018.
Xiaomi Mi 7
The Mi7 will pack some powerful hardware, including the Snapdragon 845 and a colossal 8GB of RAM, and it could be one of the first flagships to feature a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. It could also be the first second Xiaomi phone to include 7.5W wireless charging
Samsung Galaxy Note 9
The Samsung galaxy Note 9 is expected to feature a 6.0” screen with a resolution of 1080×2048 pixels. For graphic performance, this flagship phone by Samsung will come equipped with a Mali-G71 MP20 GPU. It is rumoured to be working on a conveniently positioned fingerprint scanner that will be built into the screen.
Asus Zenfone 5 2018
Asus has used MWC 2018 to reveal the new Zenfone 5 to the world with a new design we haven’t seen on any of the company’s devices before. It features an edge-to-edge display with an iPhone X-like notch at the top, and the elephant in the room is how much this looks like Apple’s top-end handset. That doesn’t mean it’s not a beautiful looking device though, and with generally high-end specs it looks like the Asus Zenfone 5 – along with the Asus Zenfone 5Z – may be one of the stand out devices of this year’s top mobile phone show.
